What We’re Building

Audio Deacon is a curated music streaming platform built for Christian families who want more than background noise—they want music that forms the soul. In a world where music is often reduced to dopamine hits and algorithm-driven sameness,
Audio Deacon restores music’s sacred role: shaping hearts, nurturing imagination, and guiding listeners toward what is true, good, and beautiful.

The platform will deliver psalms, hymns, and rich ancient and modern music through a clean, age-aware interface, with family profiles, smart discovery tools, and theological resources that deepen the listening experience.

The problem is urgent and deeply spiritual. Music is doing exactly what God made it to do, forming us. But, modern platforms have surrendered this formative power to the devil, the world, the flesh, and the algorithm. Christian families face an impossible dilemma: isolate from modern music entirely, passively consume shallow content, or shrink their playlists out of distrust. Audio Deacon offers a better way: a joyful, expansive, and grounded alternative that prioritizes musical maturity over mindless consumption.

We’re not just building another streaming app, we’re launching a new category: curated, formational listening. Just as Hallow and Dwell reimagined prayer and Scripture engagement, Audio Deacon reimagines music. With a growing foundation of engaged listeners, weekly podcast episodes, dozens of published essays, and eager artist partnerships, we’re laying the groundwork for a thriving community shaped by the beauty of sound theology and excellent music.

Audio Deacon exists to restore music as a sacred treasure, something to be received, not just consumed. We’re not here to compete with Spotify. We’re here to offer an entirely different way to listen, grow, and worship.
